A: Opening in the rear inside fender for the fuel overflow tube
Correct. Mine was also lost with rust repairs. B: Opening for the fuel tank vent (just near where the fuel supply hose comes through). This one I am not sure of because the hole looks small. I'd need to have a look (6 yrs now....). What about that thru-to-blue hole near the tie rod bush? It just vents above the back axle somewhere RHS. |

Perhaps the fact that this overflow hose drains rain water down to that area, it seems to rust out more often? ![]() As for the fuel tank vent, it looks like I already used that hole for the fuel tank and im not going to undo my nice work so I expanded the small hole next to it from 6mm to 1 inch with a hole saw and ran the vent through that. The "thru-to-blue" hole goes to the back seat so couldnt route through there. Seems odd to vent a fuel tank next to a hot exhaust but if its not caused a problem before, I'll just run with it. MORE STRANGE PARTS WITH POINTS TABLE TO FOLLOW.
