hey guys
I already have a few 1:18 models, but I was thinking the other day how cool it would be to have a collection of falcons. I was thinking of getting every model (XK-whenever I stop). I dont think I will go with 1:18's as it might get rather expensive for something thats just going to sit there. 1:48 seems like a good size, but there seems to be alot of 1:64's floating around on ebay, but thet are so so small. Which ones are easyer to get hold off? I will end up getting utes, wagons, coupes, etc etc, doesn't really matter, and make a kind of time line. What do you think? Anyone else done similar? Just something else to waste some cash on...lol

I've got about 100 1:18 scale Falcons.....
Mostly the Biante Moffat's and Johnson collections etc. Plus a few others... Have not seen many XK-L-M-P's in any size. (I'd kill for an XP sedan!!!) One rare one I've got is a Franklin Mint XK Sedan.... <drool> D:

I've got a lot of 1:18 falcons, mostly Biante's. I have a red XR8, lightning strike GTP, shockwave GT, Citric Pursuit Ute, and about 5 BA 2003-4 Supercars, and a David Besnard AU supercar. They weren't cheap, but may be selling a couple of them if anyone is interested, all come with original box and certificate of authenticity. Got a few VW's and a VY SS as well.

I brought a 1963 1/2 Falcon coupe (US version) a month or so back because I had never seen one before (for sale), and now they are everywhere! I hate it when that happens.

Well its started. I told my gf the plans and she said lets start, brought a XT GT (green) and an AU S1 TS50. I already have a BA XR8 so thats three models down.
All in 1:43 by the way, dont have the extra room or cash for 1:18. Should be fun finding them all anyway, ebay is gold!

^^no as per usual...looks like xf, ea, eb, ed's are going to be tough to find. I think ive got a Mitre 10 EL V8supercar somewhere which will count untill I can find a normal version.

As the late Director of Biante once said it is a numbers game, it costs many many many hundreds of thousands of dollars to tool up for a model car, if they can sell enought to make a profit it will eventually be made. I would dearly love a 1/18 xf falcon but I doubt that that will ever happen.

But does anyone else randomly bid on stuff with ebay thinking that there is no way that you will win. well i just won a 1:18 XT GT - exactly the same one I brought YESTERDAY...Crap! Albiet my version is 1:43, thats not the point, I thought id have no chance of winning it. lol...still got it for $71....thats half the cost of the others on there..a little bargin I guess!
