Default Spotted!! New Mustangs!!

Here at the Motel where we are staying we were rudely interrupted whilst sipping on our ales to a distant rumble oand then we spied no less than Four NEW FORD MUSTANGS covered in plastic and apparent deceptive panels to hide the styling of these new beasts.
All that we can see is the windows that surround the occupants and even then you have to squint and look real hard to make out the steering wheel on the right-hand side. They are accompanied by two older Mustangs ,in right-hand hook configuration also, which fortunately for us are revealed in all their wonderful glory!

What we can see between the 15 or so security guards and fleet of 12 Holdens for not only these big burly blokes but also what seem to be Company Executives and Engineers. Confused yet? We are! That's right folks not a single Ford other than the Mustangs in sight....... what's more is that there is the HRT Truck/Team accompanying them. Hmmmmm. Have we missed something?

Right now as I type the cars are being kept underwraps literally by means of dodgy plastic shapes, tape and deceptive lines but they are now in-circled by these Holdens and security team holding tight so as the crowd of onlookers and seemingly professional photographers that were in-tow can't get a look in.
They are removing the wheels from all of the cars and are now completely covering them from top to ground in yet another deceptively configured shape!

We are going to stay with this entourage of people so as we can get a sneak preview for not only ourselves but also capture them either by means of video , photography or audio so as we can all share in the pleasure a Mustang induces in us all young and old!

We are also going to try and get to the bottom of why our beloved Ford is being escorted by Holdens and the HRT V8 Supercar Truck/Team. From the mumblings of a few of the people scrambling for a peek we are being informed that Ford Australia have nothing to do with the release of our family's pinnacle model here in Australia.......what in the hell is going on!!!!!!

Does anyone else know why this is so? Please share with us before we start a riot here in this little town!

Is there anyone who would be interested in some exclusive footage / pictures? Stay tuned because we will share what we can get with our Blue blooded brothers!

If someone was to offer us some sort of incentive...... I'm sure we could brave a few security gaurds and get an up close and personal look at this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Stay tuned!

Is it possible that you are actually looking at the new camaro destined for oz ?

Would explain all the holdens. The mustangs could be along for testing purposes as they are the biggest rival for the new camaro once it hits production.

Either way, look forward to some photos!

EDIT: damn people beating me :P

EDIT 2: Theres also another thread about the new camaro being spotted

Yeah those 'Mustangs' under wraps (with Vicorian plates) are definetly the new Camaros built on the VE's architecture

Why do they need to cover them up? Just about everyone knows what the new Camaro looks like anyway.

not quite true, there are a lot of details on the production models that wont be the same as the prototype / display cars.
they obviously need to keep these to themselves until release
