Shouldnt be a difference between 6 and 8. Not sure about fitting on an AU diff though because of the different suspension. IRS vs live axle.

Nah i am not fitting the diff. I just need a new plate that the arms attach to- and at the wreckers there arent many AU's just lots of EF/EL's- so was hoping the plate and arms are same length so i can do a straight swap.

i know the arms will be differenf as the AU has a different offset so this would mean a different over all diff length

So what i need is a new cover (with the spindle hanging out) and new bushes in the panhard rods. (as the old ones are now covered in diff oil and are very worn)
