Hey guys,
I need some help to remove the whining noise in the audio from the alternator. If i turn the amp up past 1 on the gain i get the whining noise from the alternator really bad. if i remove the rca's from the amp i can turn the gains up to full blast and the whining has gone. So the whining is coming from the rca's which could either be in the convertor i have but I highly doubt it or the ICC which is more likely considering it is a common problem. I was wondering if there is a way to clean up the noise in the icc. For a normal head unit you would be able to install a line filter inline but because this is not a normal head unit and is part of the icc this is not possible. Is it??? Can you help? Is there a way to remove the ground loop in the icc? |

the best solution is to modify the radio cd module of the ICC to have RCA's out and a remote wire where you can run ur after market amp sepakers etc...through this modification we offer. No engine or altenator noise. we done so many now and not even one complaint or issue with any noise. please call us to clarify a bit more. 0397991444 cheers fadi75

I was hoping not to go down that path right at this moment because I might sell the car soon. I didn't want to do the mod and then have to undo it straight away sort of thing. I was hoping there might be a solution like grounding the pre amp or speaker lines or something in the ICC to the chassis of the ICC unit and then grounding the outside of the ICC chassis to the car chassis. Is this a possibility?
