Hi all, just wondering will an EF air bag fit on the AU?

the steering wheels are the same so im pretty sure the air bags would be the same as well

While it will physically fit, I would guess that there may have been a lot of progress on airbag design/triggering between 1994 and 1998. I have fitted an AU2 airbag to an AU1, and an EF wheel to an AU2, but I wouldn't use an EF airbag in an AU.
