Is an FG GT bar the same bar as an FG F6, but with a different mouthpiece, or are they different bars, thanks.

They are the same, as you said the only difference is in the lower bar. The GT has full mesh where the F6 has a bit of mesh (different design) with plastic 'struts' each side.

i prefer the f6 wjth the cutout. look great on a gtp with a intercooled boss 335

Agreed. The bulge doesn't do it for me much, anymore. I like the intercooler poking out the bottom, just don't like the mess stones make to it. :(

Thanks guys. I have not once seen the lower piece for sale, only the GT Mesh. They must be heaps rare.
