One thing that really bothers me is the phone book. I have an Iphone 3gs and some contacts might have say 4 phone numbers, the phone book shows that contact 4 times but it does not indicate what one is home or fax or work ect....
HOW on earth can I organize my contacts to be able to know what one to dial. Currently the feature seems pointless to me as if I want to call someone at their office I have no idea what one to dial without literally pulling over on the side of the road and grabbing my phone and scrolling through Ideas please |

That wont do any good as I currently have around 80 contacts in myphone book, most have around 4 numbers, mobile, home, work fax, some have 5.
that would mean I would have to make 4 seperate enteries for each person, giving me 320 or so contacts. Good idea but a darn lot of work for a bluetooth connection that cant seem to "pick" the right number for me |

I found using the stereo to navigate the contacts to be too fiddly and may as well just use your phone. But I am sure that I read in the manual that it can handle the different tags for phone numbers. EG: Home, Office, Mobile etc.
I have not had to make any 'real' out bound calls from the car but found in testing that the Voice control was the way to go. Use the "MOBILE NAME" command that the kicks into the voice control of your phone (mine switches to a mans voice). Then proceed to "call Blah on mobile...". I use an android phone but found this quite effective. |
