Hey guys my RS2000 battrey is on my passanger floor ATM going to move to to boot soon but i was wondering if i can just buy a commodore battery and the right sized bits to go on the wire to connect to the battery? will it work fine? dont want to use a small battery cos my motor has had a bit of work done to it.

tyx.
also when i do put it in he boot will a commodore battery with good wire of course be strong enough to turn the motor cos i know u lose more power the longer the cable is. and what gauge and thickness cable should i buy to run a battery from the boot? |

Don't think of batteries as ones for a certain vehicle, use the "CCA" rating, ask an auto electrician, he will be able to supply the correct cable, connectors and battery for not a lot more than the Auto parts store AND you will at least get the right info and parts
