I want to rego my zg 351 fairlane in victoria, it has a few small modifications, ie; seats and wheels, but apart from that is in original condition. Anyone out there that would give a 39 year old car a fair go on the roady? Thanks cheer's.

Nope - no one.
If its not RWC, it wont pass. Vicroads has cracked down on license RWC testers and none of them are going to give you an inch. Best bet is to take it for a RWC and see what comes back on the list. |

This. But do a bit of work yourself, it'll probably help out, and save grief in the end. For example, do a run around the car, check obvious/easy things, tyres, brakes, even silly little things like the wiper blades, and that all globes work and are satisfactory.

Doubt it. Was common to swap seats around in older cars.
