Unhappy bcm problems

hi i have a 2007 ford focus my centrol locking is not working.oil light on and hand break light on. i am thinking it ge the bcm does any one known were it is located

My Haynes manual says
The Generic Electronic Module is integral with the passenger compartment fuse /junction box it is responsible for central locking,headlights wipers central locking etc you must remove the footwell; side trim. but THE MANUAL WARNS EVEN A NEW MODULE NEEDS TO BE configured and initialized by a ford dealer.

So I would just double check the earth connection on the module as this is a common cause of intermittent failures

The scan tool connector is RHS of steering wheel in roof of the coin pocket in dash about knee height.
Look for "communication errors" as this was result of an earthing problem on mine
