Looking for a Fg sedan boot lid. These things just love to rust out on the bottom next to the bumper bar. Check it on your Falcons please. They probably have rust. Anyway does anyone have a clean Fg boot lid preferably without spoiler holes for sale??? And without rust please. Brand new list price is a crazy $1300 odd

This is interesting. Some time back I found mine was getting water inside it and it would slosh around when I open the boot. I removed off the 2 rubber grommets at the bottom of the boot lid and drained it.
When it happen again i just left the 2 grommet off for good and it has not occurred again. Note sure how it was getting in as I do not have a boot spoiler. |

Gets in via the number plate holes and the "ledge" thing with the boot buttons in it as well as the spoilers.
Take grommets out and leave out. |

Very true. Grommets have been removed. But this car is a very early 2008 FG so now 14 years old. Rust Is just started. I have looked at lots of second hand ones and they all have rust starting in them
