AFter 6 months with the Garmin 6210 Colour Sat Nav system I have to say it gets my thumbs up.
Firmware upgrades are downloadable straight from the web, and Mapping is pretty acurate. Only drama i have ande I know I'm not alone is the current version of mapping is way out of date. It fits in both cars, and I have an adapter for the Motorbike too.

really? and you have to wonder why? it's not like they can't get the later system - as it's always around 18 months behind time. not 4-5 years like what gets sent out currently.

The Ford, GMH and Mitsubishi satnavs are all equally out of date, and seem to come from same source. I've been using OziExplorer with Ausways maps which are much more up to date, but its not a destination finding system like the other systems. Last edited by RED_EL_XR8; 05-02-2005 at 12:07 PM. |
