Don't get ultimates whatever you do!!! You'll be cleaning your wheels every second/third day.
Slotted Rotors sounds about the right price.

Well EBC Green stuff is 200 for the fronts and 200 for the rears..
I just thought 140 for bendix pads were a bit steep. |

The ultimates are hard and need lots of heat to work, They will chew out your rotors. Get advanced or something else. I didnt listen when everyone said dont get ultimates. I wish I listened now. I think I paid $96 a pair for them front and back. And yes they are VERY dusty. I drove 50k's on them and could rub my finger and make marks in the dust. Hope this helps.

Ultimates, chew right through your rotors. And the amount of brake dust is rediculous.
I need to look at Brake Pads soon, but I hear Bendix Advance or even Ferrodo are the way to go today. Sylox was running EBC Green Stuff, and wasn't overly impressed after a few thousand kms of running them IIRC. I am running Ferrodo's on the rear, and they seem to be great. Minimal dust.. Can't really comment on the braking power, as the front's do all the job.

I put DBA slotteds on the front of the wagon, with Advance pads and ended up with pretty bad warping. The Advance pads are still on.
I put RDA's on the rear, and all round on the sedan. The pads are QFM (Queensland Friction Materials). So far so good. $185ish for the fronts and $180 for the rears. GK

I buy the $39 a set taiwanese specials for the EF.
I imagine they roll of the same production line as much dearer brakes. On the AU I lash out and spend $60 set.

I know use Bendix Advance pads all round with slotted rotors and am quite pleased with the brake quality and in particular the low levels of dust from these pads. I find it to be a good combo.

I run 9.0mm Queensland Spiral Coil leads ... they are about $85 for the set.

I've been running Bendix Advance for about a year now and are about half worn down 30k , they work well with minimal dust .
I am using the JMM spiral leads , $90 IIRC , they have been on the car for about a year and are very good.
