Default How much does the VIC government make?

I cant verify the information in this post, but, I guess it could be verified. These numbers are staggering!!!

Not staggering at all.. come live here, you'll understand quick enough. :

To show how insane it really is the Government wanted to "reward" good drivers who had not had a ticket in the last 3 years prior to renewing their license with a reduced renewal fee. It estimated around 300,000 people would be entitled to it.

Given there is 3,500,000 drivers in Victoria that equates to only 8.5% of the driving public.
So effectively the "hoons and speeders" make up 91.5% of the Victorian driving public.


We are either a state of pathalogical speeders.. or its about Revenue. You tell me the answer :

Lets see did a road trip and from Tullamarine to the Goulburn Valley Highway no less than 6 FIXED speed cameras on the same stretch of road.
